Ard’s Dairy Farm in Ruth, Mississippi, is a family-owned Holstein dairy farm with over 200 Holstein cows and 1200 acres of scenic farm land. Our family-owned business started back in 1894 as a cotton farm. Our family has been farming for over 100 years. We are proud of our tradition of dairy farming and want to share this with others. Our beautiful farm site is a great way to spend a day in the country.

We offer a fresh option among our state’s agritourism offerings as the first working dairy farm in our region to open our doors to the public. Pat Ard, his wife, Bonnie Ard, and their daughter, Julie Ard-James, are now offering tours of the family's dairy farm, in Ruth, Mississippi. Today the Ard’s have over 200 Holstein milk cows. Our cows are milked twice daily, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
